Great Lakes/Great Books Club

The Door County Maritime Museum and Write On, Door County partner to present a monthly book club that feature books with a Great Lakes focus. Books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that have the Great Lakes as subject matter or as setting will be discussed with a facilitator from Write On. The group will meet at 10:30 am on the first Thursday of each month at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. If you would like to participate in the Great Lakes/Great Books Club, call the museum at (920) 743-5958.

Maritime Speaker Series

The Maritime Speaker Series offers an assortment of monthly programs dealing with everything from historical topics to current issues affecting the Great Lakes and the economy that relies on it. The programs are held the first Thursday of each month December through March beginning at 7 pm at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. Admission is free with a free-will collection taken.
