Manufacturing Days

9 a.m. - Noon
Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park

Ever wonder what's inside those big buildings in the Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park? This is your opportunity to find out!

Eight different businesses are opening their doors to the public to showcase their facilities, describe their operations and productions, and explain the many career opportunities they have to offer during Manufacturing Days, hosted by the Door County Economic Development Corporation and the Door County Manufacturers Association.

Tours will take place roughly every half hour between 9 a.m. and noon at Hatco Corporation, Therma-Tron-X, Cadence, N.E.W. Industries, Key Industrial Plastics, Wulf Brothers, Hi-Tec and Sunshine House.

In addition, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will have its ElectroMechanical Lab stationed for tours in the Sunshine House parking lot, and there will be a brat fry at that site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The public tours are free of charge, although donations are encouraged to help support the Door County Business & Education Partnership, an initiative of DCEDC. Information about the businesses and a map of the industrial park will be available at each participating manufacturing company.

For more information, contact Caleb Frostman (920-743-3113, ext. 203; caleb@doorcountybusiness.com) or Korey Mallien (920-743-3113, ext. 205; korey@doorcountybusiness.com).
