19th Annual Fine Art Fair
May 27 -
Artists have sold their work in the natural light of the outdoors for thousands of years, and that tradition holds strong in Sturgeon Bay with the annual Fine Art Fair, May 27 and 28, 2017.
Looking for a sparkling pair of earrings or a stunning oil painting for empty wall space? The picturesque setting of Sunset Park on the Sturgeon Bay channel and quality art for sale will kick off your summer with creative fun!
The Fine Art Fair involves more than 100 artists, fine crafters, and exhibitors who are proud to display and sell original works of art including sculpture, painting, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, photography, and music. Admission to the Fair is free, and you can vote to express your love of one artist’s work over another by voting in the People’s Choice.
New this year – Paint-A-Sturgeon!
We miniaturized our trademark name into an art project you can take home with you. Bring your family or favorite budding artist, and experience the Activity Tent and art mural. Live entertainment is woven throughout the fair including a strolling violinist, guitarist, and face-painting, balloon-animal-making clowns.
At the heart of the fair, walk through the Sculpture Garden showcasing the work of three-dimensional artists who have booth displays. The whimsical feel of the garden brings their art to life through a venue of topiaries, flowering shrubs, trees, and potted flowers compliments of Briggsville Gardens in Sturgeon Bay.
A variety of food and beverages will be available all weekend from vendors located within the park. Stop by the blue and white tent for the popular Fine Art Raffle, featuring a large selection of items donated by art fair artists. All proceeds from the Raffle support the Fine Art Fair hosted by the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, a non-profit organization.
