The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is excited to host its 15th annual Harvest Festival and Street Art Auction on Saturday, September 19, 2015. All the fun begins at 9am with a classic car show by the Old Bolts Car Club. Third Avenue will be closed to traffic allowing artists, crafters, vendors, and local shop owners to spread out into the street with a variety of goods including home decor, textiles, and more.
Begin the day by viewing immaculately restored vehicles, enjoy live music by Hot Off the Grill from 11:30am to 4:30pm, and treat yourself to a variety of delectable foods and beverages. With outstanding in-store specials and vendors specializing in a variety of goods, there’s something for everyone. Keep in mind, the 2015 Toyota Bassmaster Championship is also taking place just three blocks away at Centerpointe Marina on Sturgeon Bay’s beautiful waterfront, so take a walk down and check out the action. Events taking place on the Bassmaster grounds Saturday, September 19, include children’s activities, a farmer’s market, boat demos, and more!
Following Harvest Festival, the Street Art Auction will take place beginning at 5:30pm at Centerpointe Marina. This year’s art offering includes 19 traditional Sturgeon and three free form creations including a Bass carved from white cedar which has been autographed by the top 50 Bassmaster competitors, a 150 lb. Sturgeon carved from white pine, and a water feature fashioned from concrete, steel, and aluminum. All art will be auctioned off to the highest bidder in live, fast-paced fashion. All proceeds from the auction go to benefit the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center and the artist.
