The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is excited to host its 16th annual Harvest Festival and Street Art Auction on Saturday, September 17, 2016. All the excitement begins at 9am with a classic car show hosted by the Old Bolts Car Club.
Third Avenue will be closed to traffic allowing artists, crafters, vendors, and local shop owners to spread out onto the street with a variety of goods for sale including home decor, textiles, and one-of-a-kind finds.
Featuring live music, children’s activities, and a mix of delectable food and beverages — there’s something for everyone!
Following Harvest Festival, the Street Art Auction will take place beginning at 5:30pm. The 2016 Benches by the Bay display is a functional Street Art Project that will allow artists to paint, adorn, and embellish a handmade cedar bench or create one of their own from weather-resistant materials.
Benches will be on display from Mid-May leading up to the auction. All proceeds benefit the artist and the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, a nonprofit organization. Absentee bids are available for those unable to attend the auction. There is no cost for admission, and a full schedule of events will become available as the festival date grows closer — check back for details.
