2015 will be the 16th year the Street Art Sturgeons will swim through the beautiful, historic streets of Sturgeon Bay.
Our Sturgeon Street Art is a tradition for families, locals, and visitors alike who enjoy walking through the shopping districts and stopping along the way to see the Sturgeons on display all summer long. Following Harvest Festival on September 19, the Sturgeon Art will be sold to the highest bidder at the annual Street Art Auction which takes place in front of the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center located at 36 S. Third Avenue in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
Whether you’re looking for that special eye-catching piece for your yard, garden, business or whether you consider yourself an art collector or enthusiast, you are more than welcome to join us at this fun, exciting event! If you are unable to attend the event, absentee bids are accepted!
The Street Art originally started as a fundraising event for local non-profits, but turned into a beautification project and fundraiser for the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, a non-profit organization. Half of the proceeds benefit the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center and the other half goes to the artist. All of the Sturgeon will be on display to preview from 9am to 5pm when the auction starts.
