The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center will be hosting its annual citywide Harvest Festival and Street Art Auction on Saturday, September 19 starting at 9am. Come enjoy a bountiful fall day on Third Avenue with fun for the whole family including a vintage car show, live entertainment, shopping, children’s activities, and more!

Next, wander to another live music stage and shop along the way at a number of stores and booths where you’ll find unique artist made creations, artwork, clothing, antiques, and more.
As Harvest Festival comes to a close, the incredible Street Art Auction begins where up to 20 – 8 foot long sturgeons are auctioned off to the highest bidder in live, fast-paced fashion. For a day of fun amongst the beauty of fall, make plans to spend the day at Sturgeon Bay’s Harvest Festival!
2015 will be the 16th year the Street Art Sturgeons will swim through the beautiful, historic streets of Sturgeon Bay.
Our Sturgeon Street Art is a tradition for families, locals, and visitors alike who enjoy walking through the shopping districts and stopping along the way to see the Sturgeons on display all summer long. Following Harvest Festival on September 19, the Sturgeon Art will be sold to the highest bidder at the annual Street Art Auction which takes place in front of the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center located at 36 S. Third Avenue in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
Whether you’re looking for that special eye-catching piece for your yard, garden, business or whether you consider yourself an art collector or enthusiast, you are more than welcome to join us at this fun, exciting event! If you are unable to attend the event, absentee bids are accepted!
The Street Art originally started as a fundraising event for local non-profits, but turned into a beautification project and fundraiser for the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, a non-profit organization. Half of the proceeds benefit the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center and the other half goes to the artist. All of the Sturgeon will be on display to preview from 9am to 5pm when the auction starts.
