Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair

Saturday - Sunday, May 26 - 27, 2012

Masterpieces, music and murals will be the order of the day as the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (SBVC) presents the 13th annual Fine Art Fair, May 26th and 27th from 10am-5pm each day at Sunset Park, located just north of downtown at the corner of Third Avenue and Florida Street.

As one of the first-of-the-season outdoor shows, the Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair is part of Door County's month-long "Festival of Blossoms." This juried art show features original works of nearly 90 Wisconsin & midwest artists in a wide variety of media including sculpture, painting, jewelry, ceramics, fiber and photography; and all artwork is for sale.

No fair is complete without entertainment and this year will feature popular children’s entertainer Randy Peterson with shows at 11am and 1:30 on Saturday and noon and 2pm on Sunday! Strolling entertainers both days will include violinist Dan Ognavic and clown/magician TC Hatter! Additionally, Children will enjoy making one of a kind baggy hats and helping paint on the many giant 50 foot murals. A variety of food items and beverages will be available all weekend. The very popular “artwork raffle” will again be part of the activities and will feature a large selection of items from art fair participants.
