Join us as we usher in the holiday season during our annual Christmas by the Bay Celebration! All the fun begins Friday, Nov. 20 with our tree lighting ceremony at the clock tower on historic Third Avenue. Enjoy live music by Josh Gregory, Hervy Hodges, and Mike Raye from 6pm to 8pm with the tree lighting taking place at 7 p.m. Complimentary horse-drawn wagon rides will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. throughout downtown Sturgeon Bay.
On Saturday morning, our festive Holiday Parade will take place at 10 a.m. The parade will depart from Sawyer Park and proceed up Oak Street to Madison Avenue, across the Oregon Street Bridge, down Third Avenue, and up Jefferson Street before ending at Sixth Avenue.
Following the parade, the public is invited to a meet and greet with Santa at the Door County Historical Museum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Complimentary hot cider and sweet treats will be available. A "Frozen" meet and greet with Elsa will also take place at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Complimentary Door County Trolley and horse-drawn wagon rides will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The weekend comes to a close during Breakfast with Santa at Stone Harbor Resort from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. To place a reservation, call Stone Harbor at 920.746.0700.
