Becoming a Member of the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center

SBVC Membership

The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is a non-profit organization [501(c)3] formed to unite and market businesses and promote tourism in Sturgeon Bay.  We invite all businesses in our community to participate in our efforts. 

Every type of business is welcome.  Currently we have membership from lodging establishments, retail stores, restaurants, galleries, museums, attractions, service professionals, healthcare, parks, outdoor recreation, charter fisherman, marinas, wineries and theatres…just to name a few.

To qualify for membership

Members of the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center must have businesses in the 54235 zip code. The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is funded by annual membership dues and generous sponsorships by local businesses.  Member businesses are represented in organization decisions by the SBVC board of directors and committee members. Every business in and around Sturgeon Bay is welcomed!

Volunteer

Would you like to volunteer your time to help the Sturgeon Bay Visitor & Center?

We're always looking for help in the following areas: visitor center assistance, festival staffing, active committee participation, guidebook delivery, and bulk mailings.  There is always something fun happening at the SBVC! 

Committee and Board meetings

Board Meeting	The last Tuesday of the month at the SBVC office at 8:00am.
Staff Meeting	Every Monday morning at 9:00am at the SBVC office.
Design & Economic Restructuring (DER)	No specific meeting schedule.
Marketing Committee	The second Thursday of the month at the SBVC office at 8:30am.
Promotions Committee	Currently the first Thursday of the month at the SBVCB office at 8:30am, except as needed prior to events.
Members Meeting	Held quarterly at different member locations.  Dates and times are announcements via an e-mail announcement.  Submit e-mail address to for inclusion.
Organization Committee	No specific meeting schedule.
