Don’t Miss the Festive Sturgeon Bay Fun of Thrills on Third!
Why wouldn’t the skeleton go trick-or-treating?... He didn’t have the guts! Do you?!
Watch out for the spooky characters you may come across at the 6th Annual Thrills on Third event happening throughout the historic Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, October 28.
The fun filled day begins at 9am where there will be plenty of family friendly activities.
Paint Your Own Pumpkin
(first-come, first-served basis) at Artists Guild from 9-11am.
All decorated pumpkins will be placed along the parade route until 3pm. Participants are encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to Lakeshore CAP.
Pumpkins are provided by Artists Guild and Bordeau Farms.
Slime at the Library & Other Spooky Fun
Head over to the Door County Library to make some ooey gooey slime from 9am-12pm.
Don’t forget to make your way to the Boys & Girls Club of Door County to walk through their scary haunted house. After you experience the haunted house, take part in the “Lights on After School” activities as part of the Boys & Girls Club.
There will be six different stations of activities highlighting various programs, which are: academics, workforce development, food program, healthy lifestyles, mentoring, and arts program.
Activities will include a photo booth, coloring, ring toss, and much more! The Boys & Girls Club will be open from 10am-1pm.
Halloween Costume Contest
Gather at Martin Park, 207 S. Third Avenue at 12:45pm for costume judging and to get ready for the costume parade.
The costume parade is open to all, including pets! Floats are not permitted.
At 1pm, all participants will march down Third Avenue to the clock tower at the corner of Third and Kentucky. Mayor Birmingham will then announce and award costume winners.
After the parade, participants are encouraged to walk back along Third Avenue to take part in trick-or-treating at participating businesses until 3pm.
