Jefferson Street Jubilee & Celebration of Summer
Take a stroll down Jefferson Street this June 25, and shop, learn about and experience the district of boutiques inside beautifully restored historic buildings and homes. The Jefferson Street Jubilee & Celebration of Summer will host a variety of activities and live music to enhance your strolling and shopping experience, on Jefferson Street between 11 am - 5 pm, Saturday, June 25.
The independently owned and operated businesses are hosting demonstrations by such artists as Julie Hendricks outside of Bliss, blacksmith James Viste in the parking lot of Honeypicker, and a caricature artists at Door County Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking. Monticello will host a trunk show and sell fancy hats, along with a Garden Party and garden art; activities will entertain children of all ages at Child’s Play, Jefferson Street Books, and Elliott’s Mercantile. New seasonal merchandise, sales, in–store specials, demonstrations of product lines and sample sales at Anna Rose, Bliss, Lola May’s and Door County Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking, and many of the other stores.
Free chair massages will be offered at Monet’s Mansion. Food and beverage tastings and special dishes will be available at 5th & Jefferson Coffeehouse – wine too – and Sunflour Artisan Bakery. And a variety of food and beverage options will be for sale in the Sunflour Artisan Bakery parking lot.
Admire the beautiful gardens in the front yards of the historic Jefferson Street buildings, as you enjoy the live musical energy of Wifee & the HuZz Band from 11 am - 1 pm, and the Dead Horse band from 2-5 pm.
