22. Historic Bell Tower; bell cast in 1900. A modern rendition of Baylake Bank's original
tower was dedicated January 26, 1990. Built on the NE corner of Third Ave. and
Kentucky, this new tower commemorates the Bank's 100th Anniversary. The original
tower was erected in 1900 on the NW corner of the same intersection and removed
in 1939. The original bell was reacquired with the cooperation of the First Baptist
Church of Sturgeon Bay where it had called parishioners to worship since 1946.
