Letter of Intent Guidelines

 

Letters of Intent are due to the Door County Community Foundation by Friday, June 16, 2006 at 4 p.m. Applicants are encouraged to contact Jane Stevenson at 746-1786 and discuss the proposal before submitting the Letter of Intent.  Organizations will be notified by July 14, 2006 if they are invited to submit a full proposal by the September 29, 2006 deadline.

In two pages or less (font may be no smaller than 11 point and margins must extend no further on the page than inch on each side, top and bottom), please address the following:

          A brief description of the organization's mission and major programs.

          Description of proposed project and how the priority area(s) of the Community Impact Grants is/are impacted.   

          Other collaborating organizations and their roles.

          Outcomes you expect the project to yield and the way in which these outcomes will be measured.

          Approximate amount requested with an explanation of how the funds will be used.

          Other proposed and secured funding sources.

 

Please remember your letter must include:

  1. No more than two pages on your organization's letterhead.
  2. Complete contact information for your organization and the contact person responsible for the proposed project.
  3. Signature of the President or Executive Director of your organization.
