Friday, February 16
The weekend begins with a luminary-lit hike at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on Friday, February 16 from 5:30 – 7 pm. Enjoy a magical, memorable winter experience with hot chocolate and bonfires. This family-friendly event is offered at no charge.

Celebrate Love & Life with a Special Fire & Ice Dining Experience at Bluefront Cafe. Check out this Special Menu featured on Friday, February 16 from 5:30-10:00 pm. Reservations encouraged: 920-743-9218.

Drömhus Door County will be hosting a Fire & Ice Pizza Date Night for TWO: Share an appetizer, a pizza, and a bottle of wine — all for $50. (5 – 9 pm | Friday 02/16 and Saturday 02/17). RSVP HERE.


Saturday, February 17
Saturday, stroll around town to witness novice and professional carvers turn blocks of ice into works of art beginning at 9 am! Destination Sturgeon Bay member businesses have sponsored 20 ice blocks this year. Carvers of all ages and skill levels will compete for cash prizes and the People’s Choice Award

All are welcome to enjoy free Door County Trolley rides, 11 am to 3 pm. Trolley stops will be located at Third Avenue PlayWorks, Popelka Trenchard Glass Studio, Bay Shore Outfitters, and Kitty O’Reillys Irish Pub. Park your car, hop on a trolley, and check out all of the happenings taking place throughout Sturgeon Bay.

Warm Up with Hot Chocolate & Coffee outside of Bluefront Cafe from 9 to 11 am — with the purchase coffee or hot chocolate, you receive a 10% discount on your meals if redeemed on Saturday (02/16) or Sunday (02/17).

Third Avenue PlayWorks will be hosting an Indoor Winter Market from 10 am to 2 pm featuring vendors offering handmade knit pieces, fun freeze-dried goodies, unique art, and much, much more! This is the perfect spot to warm up and steamy, hot cocoa will be available for purchase.

Hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, or simply explore on Saturday at Potawatomi State Park during Winter Trails Day presented by The Friends of Potawatomi State Park. Join the Friends in the warming shelter at the picnic area on the park’s south shoreline for refreshments and to warm up by the fire, 11 am to 1 pm.

Hot Chocolate with HYPE DANCE TEAM Come join the Hype Dance Team at Martin Park from 11 am – 1 pm on Saturday, February 17th for the Fire & Ice Festival. Hot chocolate and bake sale items will be available. Performances will take place at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm!

Popelka Trenchard Glass Studio will be hosting free Glass Blowing Demonstrations from 1 to 3 pm (64 S 2nd Avenue).

Waterfront Mary’s Bar & Grill will be hosting a special Fire & Ice Fish Boil at 5:30 pm. Call ahead to make reservations! (920) 743-3690.

2024 Annual Fire & Ice Gala, Saturday, February 17: 2024 Gala Tickets are SOLD OUT!
Saturday evening the excitement continues during the annual Destination Sturgeon Bay Fire & Ice dinner and auction.

Destination Sturgeon Bay will once again partner with Handbid Online for an online silent auction featuring over 60 amazing, local products from businesses around Door County. The auction opens for bidding on Friday, February 9 at 12 pm and will close on Saturday, February 17 at 10 pm. All are welcome to participate!

The weekend festivities conclude with the Sturgeon Bay’s “Fire Over the Water” community fireworks show beginning at 9 pm on Saturday, February 17. Fireworks will be launched from the Old Train Spur Bridge on the waterfront.
Viewing locations will include Otumba Park, Stone Harbor Resort, Bayview Park, Graham Park, Sawyer Park, and Sonny’s Pizzeria.
