Fire and Ice Festival
February 16, 2019
Warm up on a cold winter day during Sturgeon Bay’s annual Fire & Ice Festival and Gala. Bundle up and come join the festivities starting at 9 am. happening city wide. Watch ice carvers of all skill levels create an “ice-terpiece” and professional snow sculptors work their magic on a snow block. Free trolley rides around the city are available and watch a professional blacksmith at work in Martin Park.
Ice carvers compete for cash prizes and awards. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (36 S. 3rd Ave.). Winners are announced at 3 p.m. at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. But before you vote make sure to take a trolley around to see all of the sculptures. If you are interested in participating in the ice carving competition please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (920) 743-6246.
After a day outside admiring the ice sculptures, join us at Stone Harbor Resort for the Fire and Ice Gala. Gala begins at 6 pm. This year's band, Hip Pocket, is a powerful band with a blazing horn section, rocking rhythm, and amazing vocals. It'll certainly sell out early, so be sure to call the SBVC for tickets. For additional information please call the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center at (920) 743-6246 or email email@example.com.
