Celebrate your Irish spirit in Sturgeon Bay by attending the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 11 am. The parade will start at Sawyer Park via Oak Street, travel down Madison Avenue, cross the Michigan Street bridge, proceed down Third Avenue, and finish at Jefferson Street. Come early to stake out your spot and enjoy live entertainment offered at venues throughout the city!

Wet Felting Irish Landscape Workshop with Nicole Herbst
2 PM – 5 PM: Join Door County artist and popular workshop instructor Nicole Herbst at ARTicipation Studio & Gallery’s magic table and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend by creating a small felted landscape inspired by the Irish countryside and the early spring beauty of Door County. In this beginner friendly nuno wet felting workshop, participants will layer fine wool fibers and silk with water and gentle movement to build a soft relief artwork featuring mossy hillsides, stone walls, sheep, or abstract greens and gold symbolizing growth and new beginnings. No experience is needed, all materials are provided, and each person will leave with a finished 10×10 wooden framed felt painting and the skills to continue felting at home.
