Harvest Festival is Back!
Usher in the spirit of autumn with a bountiful day on Third Avenue starting at 9AM on Saturday, September 18. Features include a classic car show by Old Bolts Car Club, arts & craft show, amazing food vendors, in-store specials city-wide, children's activities at the Boys and Girls Club tent and live entertainment!

Join Destination Sturgeon Bay for Harvest Festival, the first Fall Festival in Door County for the year! Third Avenue will be shut down from Jefferson Street to Quincy Street and will be filled with local businesses, artisan crafters and Door County vendors selling their marvelous goods and products. And don’t forget about those food options! It’ll be a tough choice between BBQ Pork Sandwiches, Empanada’s, Pizza, Grilled Corn, and SO much more!
Starboard Brewing Company has returned to kick off the annual Oktoberfest celebration here in Sturgeon Bay. They will be tapping the inaugural Firkin of Oktoberfest with Sturgeon Bay Mayor, David Ward, promptly at Noon following the playing of Roll Out the Barrel by Hot Off the Grill. After the Firkin is tapped, Starboard will be selling glasses of Oktoberfest for $5/glass until it’s gone!
You won’t want to miss out on the second annual Starboard Stein Holding Contest. For $15 you can enter and have a chance to win! Can you beat the record and take home the Grand Prize?
The fun doesn’t stop off of Third Avenue! Martin Park will host a variety of events on Saturday, September 18. Beginning at 10am, Destination Sturgeon Bay will be selling beer and other beverages and The Dog House will be offering a variety of grilled goodies. Worried that you’ll miss your favorite collegiate football game? No worries! We’ll be streaming the 11AM games at Martin Park. It’ll be the PERFECT Saturday hangout spot with your buddies.
Old Bolts Car Show
Old Bolts Car Club starts the celebration on Friday, September 17 with their annual Car Parade through Downtown Sturgeon Bay. The parade will begin promptly at 5:30pm from the Tractor Supply parking lot. The parade of 100+ classic cars will make their way down Egg Harbor Road to Jefferson Street and turn left on Third Avenue. From Third Avenue, they will turn right on Michigan Street and caravan over the Michigan Street Bridge up Madison Avenue to Oak Street. They will make their way back to the East Waterfront via Neenah Avenue and over the Oregon Street Bridge to their final destination at Martin Park (Pennsylvania Street)!
Old Bolts comes back to Downtown Sturgeon Bay on Saturday to feature 200+ classic cars for their annual car show. Third Avenue from Michigan Street to Quincy Street will be filled with the finest automobiles Door County has to offer. Old Bolts will also host their Car Show Awards at 3pm outside of Lakeshore CAP on Third Avenue before the show ends at 4pm.
Cherries Jubilee Street Art Auction sponsored by Nicolet National Bank
We’re celebrating 21 years of public art in Sturgeon Bay in the best way possible – with cherries! This unique collaboration of art and community has been created to beautify the streets of Sturgeon Bay until September. Artists from across the Midwest have been dreaming of Cherries Jubilee since January and are excited to show off their amazing work.
All 25 cherries will be available to preview at Martin Park on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Bidding is now open via Handbid.
Starting at 3pm Nick Freimuth from Let’s Go Door County will join us for our annual Street Art Auction Preview. Artists will be presenting their cherries and sharing stories behind their creative projects. Destination Sturgeon Bay staff will be available to help with last minute bids and any questions bidders and winners may have. Bidding officially closes at 5:30pm and winners will be able to take home their new pieces! Shipping and delivery are also available via Peninsula Transfer.
Between the arts, classic cars, and Oktoberfest fun, Harvest Festival in Sturgeon Bay will be a weekend that you won’t want to miss!
