Smoked Salmon Spread

1 lb. smoked salmon
1 medium shallot
1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. minced garlic
1 cup cream cheese, softened
8-10 sprigs cilantro
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper


Set aside smoked salmon at room temperature for 1 hour. Break apart with fork. Mix all other ingredients together in bowl until blended. Hand toss salmon into ingredients and fold in until salmon is covered throughout. Chill for 2-4 hours. Serve with crackers or toast points.
